Alan Sugar celebrates Ruby wedding anniversary

  The Apprentice star Sir Alan Sugar and his wife Ann celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at the weekend in suitably lavish style.
  
  The multi-millionaire is reported to have forked out £4 million on the grand bash at the Sugar mansion in Chigwell, Essex.
  
  Bruce Forsyth hosted a cabaret at the marquee while Sir Elton John surprised Ann, who is a big fan of the musician, by flying in by helicopter.
  
  Giving a moving speech to celebrate the occasion, the Daily Mail quoted Sir Alan as joking: "She always says the day she met me she knew she had met Mr Right; what she didn't know was that my first name was Always.
  
  "She has been by my side through good and bad times. Ann has been a great leveller for me, and kept me on the straight and level. You see, everything I have today is because of the love of that lady."
