  It seems that Kate Middleton is being given one last chance to become a princess, if reports that she is once again dating William are to be believed.
  
  The fact that Kate has been forced to pull out of the Channel boat race have triggered rumours that her relationship with the prince is back on.
  
  Kate has been training with the Sisterhood, a 21-strong female crew of a Chinese dragon boat, who are due to challenge the Brotherhood, a male crew, in a race across 21 miles of the Channel from Dover to Cap Griz Nez in France.
  
  After weeks of practice, Kate has been forced to pull out of the competition just a fortnight before the race amid security fears.
  
  A spokeswoman for the all-girl team said: "Kate Middleton has withdrawn from the race due to security issues surrounding the recent media circus."
  
  However, some say that pressure from the palace has brought on the decision, inviting speculation that Kate has had to honour her allegiance to William.
