A couple who were united by their love of beer have had one ale of a wedding by organising their nuptials in a Kent brewery.
Real ale enthusiasts Richard Snell (41) and Karen Burr (48) became the first couple to get married at Shepherd Neame's brewery in Faversham.
They invited 40 of their beer-loving friends to witness their exchange of vows in the boozy venue.
Flowers were substituted for hops by way of decoration and instead of toasting their wedding with traditional champagne, the guests drank their favourite tipple of beer, the Metro reports.
The groom told the newspaper: "We do both like our beer and thought this was the perfect venue."
