Most women in Britain would rather surf the internet than have sex, new research reveals.
A survey into British women's favourite leisure pursuits found that one in five women said that they loved spending time online.
This came above reading (cited by 18 per cent of respondents), socialising with friends (16 per cent) and watching television (11 per cent).
Meanwhile a mere seven per cent of women said that their favourite leisure activity was sex, making this pursuit equally popular to listening to music, the poll conducted by online gamer Zylom.com revealed.
Leading life coach and psychologist Dr Sally Ann Law told the Sun: "Men have never had a problem with using a PlayStation to let off steam and the study proves that now more and more women are using online games to de-stress and chill-out.
"Women feel empowered, they are able to channel various skills including leadership, puzzle-solving and hand-to-eye coordination in a controlled and relaxed atmosphere."
Why not combine both pleasures by using the internet to search for your perfect date?
