Presenter Cat Deeley is to host a new dating televison show called The Big Match, it has been revealed.
The in-studio series will pitch 100 men against each other, all fighting for a dream date with one woman through a series of compatibility challeges.
Currently being made in the UK by ITV Productions, The Big Match has just been bought by US channel Lifetime.
The show will be produced by Granada America and reportedly represents the first major project ordered from Paul Buccieri, who was appointed president and chief executive of the Granada's US division last month.
"Granada America has a long-standing relationship with Lifetime as a provider of movies for television and we are delighted to be able to expand our partnership into this new genre," Mr Buccieri said.
