Cher admits dating Cruise

Pop star Cher has admitted that she dated Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise back in the eighties.
Despite a 16-year age gap between the pair, the ex-wife of Sonny Bono confirmed long-standing rumours that she once went out with the tiny actor.
The 61-year-old told Good Morning America host Cynthia McFadden that Cruise was a great boyfriend.
She said: "[Tom] was just the most adorable man you can possibly imagine."
She added: "But I don't understand the Scientology thing."
Cher also revealed that she came very close to dating the music legend Elvis Presley, but she was too shy to accept his romantic offer to whisk her away.
"When he called I was just too frightened to go to Las Vegas with him for the weekend," she explained.
"I regretted it - I regretted it forever."
