Eva shares dating tips with Jessica

  Eva Longoria has given her fellow Hollywood actress Jessica Simpson some advice on dating a sports star.
  
  The Desperate Housewives actress married basketball star Tony Parker last summer, while Jessica is dating footballer Tony Romo, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys.
  
  Jessica has been berated by fans of the team and accused of putting their star player off his game – a predicament which Eva can relate to.
  
  Eva told People.com: "When I first started dating Tony, I got the same flack. If he had a bad game, it was my fault, if he got injured, it was my fault, if he had a good game, it wasn't because of me."
  
  But Eva advised her fellow Texan Jessica to stay strong and know that she will be accepted by fans eventually.
  
  "You have to weather that for a while and once people get over it they kind of get used to you,"she said.
  
  "Believe me, they are not thinking of us when they are on the field, particularly Romo, who has ten linemen coming at him. Do you think that he is really thinking about Jessica the moment that he is about to get sacked?"
