    Hilary Duff seems to have gotten over her split from Joel Madden pretty quickly. The 19-year-old actress is reportedly dating a professional hockey player.

    Strapping Mike Comrie is a Canadian who plays for the Islanders.

    Mike (26), who previously played for the Ottawa Senators, was spotted having a romantic dinner with Hilary at a Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica on Wednesday night before driving off in Mike's vehicle.

    Hilary was dating Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden for two years, but their relationship ended last November.

    Joel began dating the skeletal socialite Nicole Richie, who is now rumoured to be pregnant with his child, shortly after his split from Hilary.

    Hilary recently admitted that she was hurt when she realised that Joel could move on so quickly.
