Men in Italy are more likely to get their kicks from football than from sex, according to the results of a new survey.
Search engine Google claims that Italians are twice as likely to search for the sport than for the word 'sex', in contrast to the trend set by the rest of the world.
Many Italians were found to agree that it is easy to forego sex but more difficult to resist watching a crucial football match.
"Our kids are simpler than their parents. They understand perfectly that a football derby, if you do not watch it, is an event that is lost forever," Stefano Zecchi, a commentator for the Il Giornale newspaper, told The Daily Telegraph.
"Love, however, is something you can do whenever."
Luckily, British men have not displayed the same apathy to romance, so to score a goal in your love-life search for your perfect date!
