    Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal is so besotted with his actress girlfriend Reese Wetherspoon that he is planning to pop the question soon, according to reports.

    The 27-year-old actor, who previously dated Kirsten Dunst and singer Jenny Lewis from rock band Rilo Kiley, has been dating Reese since they starred together in the 2007 movie Rendition.

    Reese has two children from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe and traditionalist Jake has apparently grown so fond of them that he wants kids of his own with the Legally Blonde star.

    A source told OK! magazine: "Jake knows he might be jumping the gun thinking of kids, but he knows that Reese is the one. He laughs and says he needs to propose and do this the right way.

    "It really is first comes love, then comes marriage. As cheesy as that sounds, it's the way he thinks!"
