    Hollywood heart-throb Jesse Metcalfe recently unveiled a bizarre new tattoo reported to be in honour of his ex-girlfriend Nadine Coyle.

    The Desperate Housewives star was rumoured to have rekindled his romance with the Girls Aloud singer, but Nadine has adamantly denied these allegations, insisting that the pair are just friends.

    Jesse's tattoo is said to depict a naked woman lassoing a giant heart in front of a rising sun.

    "Everyone has had their heart broken but this is just a reminder not to let it happen again," Jesse said of his new body art.

    "I went through a hard break-up. Every tattoo is a memory.

    "It doesn't mean you are staying in that moment or obsessing about it. I chose to get that tattoo, especially with the heart on the arm, because I chose to wear my heart on my sleeve."
