    Jessica Simpson is rumoured to be dating ailing star Owen Wilson.

    According to reports, the troubled Wedding Crashers star, who attempted to commit suicide in August this year, was seen cheering himself up with the buxom blonde on Sunday evening.

    Owen (38) enjoyed an intimate dinner with the Dukes of Hazzard star at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica before retiring to his Malibu home, witnesses claim.

    One onlooker said: "He couldn't keep his hand off her."

    Owen is said to have spiralled into a deep depression in the summer after learning that his ex-girlfriend, Kate Hudson, was dating the comedian Dax Shepard.
