John Cleese's new toy girl

  Legendary British comic John Cleese (68) has found love with a woman who is half his age.
  
  The Monty Python and Fawlty Towers star is dating 34-year-old American marketing executive Veronica Smiley and, just like her name-sake, the blonde beauty has injected a good dose of happiness into the actor's life.
  
  Veronica and John started out as friends but eventually began dating and have already enjoyed a romantic holiday in Italy together.
  
  John said: "Veronica is incredibly bright. I never thought I would be interested in somebody in marketing but she is so cute."
  
  He added that he was concerned about the distance as he is based in London while Veronica, who is vice-president of marketing for US satirical political magazine Radar, lives in Chicago.
  
  However he said that he would like to make the relationship work.
  
  Veronica added: "At the moment it is a very close, very warm friendship. He is twice my age. He is very stimulating and extremely funny and charming."
