    Kate Hudson has spoken about how different dating is when you're a single parent.

    Having put her split from her You, Me and Dupree co-star Owen Wilson behind her, as well as her marriage to the father of her three-year-old son Ryder, Chris Robinson, behind her, Kate says she is ready to get back on the dating scene, but will approach it differently.

    "Dating becomes very different," the 28-year-old daughter of Goldie Hawn said in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine.

    "You realise after you have had children that you'll never love anything more than your child.

    "So it makes the new single mum dating process very different. It's like growing up. It's adult."

    Kate also said that, although divorce is "really hard", she still speaks to her ex-husband every day and loves him "to pieces".
