    Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling have reportedly gone public with their romance after they were spotted putting on a display of affection.

    The Marie Antoinette star has been single since splitting from Razorlight front-man Johnny Borrell, while Ryan split from his girlfriend of two years, Rachel McAdams, last year.

    The 27-year-old heartthrob said that public reaction to the split had been negative as the couple had won over many fans in their hit film The Notebook.

    Ryan said at the time: "Women are mad at me. A girl came up to me on the street and she almost smacked me. Like, 'How could you? How could you let a girl like that go?'"

    However Ryan seems to have moved on as he was reportedly seen kissing Kirsten at the Box Club in New York on Saturday night.

    A source told gossip website perezhilton.com: "They were definitely acting like they were on a date. They lingered there for hours."
