Marilyn Manson strikes bond with in-laws

  If most teenage girls brought shock rocker Marilyn Manson home to meet their parents, the likelihood is that it would not go too well.
  
  Yet 19-year-old Evan Rachel Wood has revealed the meeting between her boyfriend Manson and her parents proved a surprising success.
  
  Evan admitted that her mother was shocked to see her husband take such a shining to the freakish-looking rock star and even questioned her sobriety.
  
  In an interview with Wonderland magazine, Evan said: "My dad and Manson were getting on really well and talking about vampires when my mom leans over and says, 'I'm sorry, are we all on acid?' "
  
  But Evan went on to explain that her parents are perhaps a little less conservative than most.
  
  She said: "My mom dated rock stars and my dad has played Dracula on stage so they get it."
