Mel B weds in secret ceremony

  Spice Girl Melanie Brown secretly married in June, her spokesperson has confirmed.
  
  Mel married her film producer boyfriend, Stephen Belafonte, at a ceremony in Las Vegas on June 6th, it has emerged.
  
  Mel has two daughters named Phoenix and Angel Iris and Stephen also has a two-year-old son.
  
  It is the second marriage for Mel as she married the dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998 at a lavish ceremony in Buckinghamshire.
  
  Stephen and Mel are said to be planning a bigger celebration for family and friends later this year.
  
  Mel's publicist said in a statement: "The couple, who are both 32, had wanted to keep the ceremony out of the public eye as they planned a more formal wedding for friends and family later in the year.
  
  "Melanie and Stephen felt that they were at a good point in their lives and wanted to make a private commitment to each other. They have been good friends for many years."
