New research suggests that today's young woman knows exactly what she is looking for - to be married to a man called James by the time she is 25.
The ideal partner would also earn £25,000 or more per year and be a "romantic, heard-working man who is not afraid to commit".
Despite their confidence, according to a new poll eight out of ten women worry that they will never find their soulmate.
Although many women choose not to marry until they are well into their thirties, the research found that the majority of women think that 25 is the "perfect" age to settle down.
James emerged as the most popular name for a potential husband but Daniel, Ben, Matt, Mark, Chris, Jack, David, Josh and John were also popular.
Lisa Smosarski, editor of More magazine, who commissioned the survey, said: "The idea that women want an endless string of serial relationships which never end in commitment is way off the mark.
"By the age of 25, what young women really want is a soulmate with a view to marriage."
If you're still looking for your soulmate, search for your perfect date!
