    Harry Potter star and teen heartthrob Daniel Radcliffe has ruled out ever having a one-night stand because he claimed he would be too worried about reading about it in the papers the following week.

    The 18-year-old actor displayed wisdom beyond his years in an interview with Heat magazine when he said that he had no intention of becoming a famous love rat.

    He said that he intended only to sleep with people that he had come to know first and trusted not to reveal private information about their relationship to the press.

    "I wouldn't have a one-night stand," he told Heat.

    "The next few weeks would be awful, worrying she'd sell her story to the press."

    Radcliffe has enjoyed no shortage of female attention since maturing from the boy wizard in the first Harry Potter film of 2001 to an actor of both stage and screen.

    He is currently linked with Laura O'Toole, whom he met while playing the lead in the play Equus.
