Reality TV moves into online dating

A new online show will follow the adventures of an American actor as he attempts to find love over the internet.
Dating Brad Garrett has been created by Sony Pictures and will chart the actor's progress in the world of online dating.
Garrett, best known for his role in Everybody Loves Raymond, will have blind dates with ten women over the duration of the series, with each one shown on video-sharing websites including YouTube and Crackle.
"An online dating show seemed like a logical choice given that I'm in the midst of a midlife crisis and averse to pain, which makes getting my ear pierced out of the question," Garrett told Reuters.
"And since I'm not picky about my choices, I hope women of all sizes, shapes and colours will be compelled to submit their videos."
Garret played Ray's brother Robert, in Everybody Loves Raymond and has more recently appeared in Til Death and lent his distinctive deep voice to animated films including A Bug's Life, Ratatouille and Finding Nemo.
