Reese shares her dad's dating wisdom

  Reese Witherspoon may be an A-list Hollywood star, but she still takes her good old dad's advice when it comes to dating.
  
  Moreover, the actress has even been kind enough to impart her father's words of wisdom on the rest of us.
  
  The Legally Blonde star has laughed off rumours that she is dating her Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, despite being photographed enjoying a cosy romantic break with the actor in Rome earlier this week.
  
  Speaking to Elle magazine last month, Reese, who was formerly married to actor Ryan Phillippe, said: "[My dad and uncle] taught me that in every relationship, the person least interested in maintaining it is going to dominate it, because they'll never compromise.
  
  "So you have to always maintain that position of least interest, and you'll always control the relationship."
