    It is rumoured that Dita Von Teese could be dating TV funny man Russell Brand.

    Brand told the Mirror that he had spoken to the burlesque star at a pre-Oscars party, and had walked away with her phone number.

    "I saw Dita von Teese at the Chateau Marmont Hotel," Brand told the paper.

    "Eventually she saw me and we started chatting. I was saying some brilliantly funny things, slowly tempting her into my web.

    "It was going well and she goes, 'Would you like my number? Call me any time you are bored."'

    Seeing his chance Brand replied later: "Oddly, now I feel perpetually bored. Everything seems pale having met you".

    According to Brand she replied: "You have a way with words".

    Russell Brand is in LA to discuss the possibility of turning his autobiography into a film.
