  Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have reportedly reignited their romance after splitting in 2007.
  
  The Canadian actors started dating shortly after starring together as lovers in the romantic 2004 film The Notebook.
  
  Gosling revealed that a number of female fans of the slushy chick flick were devastated to discover that the couple had split and even attacked him in the street.
  
  However, now it appears that Ryan and Rachel are together again, according to reports.
  
  A source told US Weekly magazine "They've been talking a lot. Their friends are quite pleased that they're getting back together and are trying to give them space."
  
  The couple were apparently spotted enjoying a romantic stroll in Toronto together and Rachel recently made an appearance at Ryan's weekly DJ gig at the Green Door lounge in Hollywood.
  
  "They talked when he was away from the deejay stand," says a friend. "They really looked like good pals. He seemed happy to see her."
  
  During their relationship, Ryan told reporters that he fell in love with Rachel because she was so discerning regarding her approach to work, adding that she had inspired him to do a lot of things.
