The manufacturers of Marmite are bringing out a special limited edition flavoured with Champagne for Valentine's Day.
Just 600,000 little jars of the lovers' Marmite will be going on sale ahead of the romantic holiday.
The special gold heart-shaped label says: "I love you" and "for my lovely Marmite lover".
The 250g pots, containing 0.3 per cent champagne, will go on sale in supermarkets from January 21st and will cost £2.99 each.
Before that they will be sold in Selfridges at a price of £3.99 each along with 50 special pots with engraved silver lids which will be priced at £145.
The retailer's director of food and restaurants Ewan Venters said: "We are delighted to be introducing a perfect partnership this Valentine's Day, uniting the sophistication of champagne with the quintessentially British classic taste of Marmite.
"Whether you love it or hate it, we are billing Lovers' Marmite to be one of this year's most popular gifts."
