  We've all been there, thinking 'should I text first?' and 'why hasn't he called?'
  
  But now Natasha Bedingfield has spoken about the complicated rules involved with dating.
  
  As a Brit who currently lives in LA, the Unwritten singer says that sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the dating politics.
  
  In an interview with New! Magazine, the 25-year-old singer said: "There are all these games that you have to play and sometimes you don't know the rules.
  
  "Like can a girl ask a guy out? And you find yourself asking your friends, 'Is this text message too forward?' or they'll say, 'I'd wait another hour before replying, just to keep them hanging on'."
  
  The great thing about online dating is you don't have to play games!
