Tony 'took a liking' to Jessica

  Tony Romo is not engaged to Jessica Simpson, he has insisted, but he is open to the idea of marriage in the future.
  
  Speaking to People magazine, the Dallas Cowboys star said that speculation he and the singer are going to wed is "just rumours".
  
  He also said it's not true that Jessica's manager father set the two of them up on a date. "He was there at the same time I met her, but it was indirect. You know, you just start talking. Some people take a liking to each other. Some don't."
  
  The 27-year-old sportsman has been dating Dukes of Hazzard star Jess since November last year and he has joked that it takes a certain kind of guy to date the songstress.
  
  Accepting a Cosmopolitan magazine fun and fearless award, he pointed out that previous winners include Dane Cook and John Mayer - both of whom used to date Jessica.
  
  "If you date Jessica Simpson, I guess you're fun and fearless," he said.
