Topping Brad is a challenge, says Chris Martin

  Despite fronting one of the most successful British bands, Chris Martin still feels the stress of living up to his wife's ex -fiancée.
  
  The shy Coldplay frontman said that knowing his wife Gwyneth Paltrow was once engaged to Brad Pitt makes him want to succeed in life.
  
  "If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you'd want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?" he told Rolling Stone in an interview.
  
  Martin also explained that his only long-term relationship has been with Gwyneth - who is the mother of his two children.
  
  "I've only been in one serious relationship," he said. "Is that weird? I don't think it's that weird."
  
  This is mainly because he was a late starter with the ladies. "I got trapped in the friendship tip many, many times," he confided.
