    Tennis ace Serena Williams is reportedly dating US rapper and actor Common.

    The two were spotted enjoying a romantic Easter weekend together in Hollywood.

    After meeting on the set of Common's latest music video for the song I Want You, the new couple were snapped by photographers leaving West Hollywood nightclub Villa over the weekend.

    Rumours of a blossoming relationship between the Wimbledon champion and the Smokin' Aces star started earlier this month when they were seen holding hands at a party in New York.

    A source told People magazine that while parting in Hollywood this weekend the couple were being "affectionate" towards one another.

    The twice-Wimbledon women's winner dated American movie director and Prison Break producer Brett Ratner for two years between 2004 and 2006.

    Williams reportedly broke up with the Rush Hour director after he spent a hedonistic week in New York with Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri and Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs.
