World's 'shortest couple' tie the knot

  A newlywed couple in China are hoping to get a place in the Guinness book of records for being the world's shortest married couple.
  
  Li Tangyong, 3ft 7ins, of Shunde city, married Chen Guilan, 2ft 4ins in a group wedding ceremony earlier this week.
  
  The couple married on China's national day holiday along with 30 other couples.
  
  Shortly before the ceremony, they applied to Guinness World Records and are hoping to push the previous shortest couple in the world off the top spot.
  
  "We had to postpone the marriage for three years because both our families objected," Mr Tangyong told New Express.
