    Fight for this love...

    No more!

It’s finally been made official, after 2 weeks of speculation, Cheryl Cole has dumped husband Ashley Cole. Their split was announced yesterday by Cheryl’s spokesman: “Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make”. It’s claimed that Cheryl made the decision two weeks ago when the first allegations emerged; Ashley is said to have bedded a string of 4 women, with one more claiming photos of Ashley naked were texted to her.

Cheryl’s team confirmed the split just hours after returning from LA where she was working on her new album. While in the US she was spotted numerous times with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dancer Derek Hough, who appears in the video for Cheryl’s new single Parachute. Rumours have been surrounding the pair after they spent hours in her hotel room ‘discussing the split’. During her stay in LA she apparently viewed a villa-style property in the Hollywood Hills, prompting speculation that she may now accept Simon Cowell’s offer to work on the US version of the X Factor.

Since returning to the UK, Cheryl has kicked Ashley out of the £4million 9-bedroom mansion they share in Surrey. Ashley Cole reportedly bombarded Cheryl with phone calls begging for her forgiveness and even offered to go to rehab for his ‘sex addiction’.

Ashley, who is paid £82,000 a week by Chelsea, has apparently turned angry when it comes to the couples estimated £22million fortune saying he won’t give up his money without a fight. The couple failed to sign a pre-nup before their wedding in 2006, Cheryl claimed it was “defeating the point. It now seems as though there could be a bitter divorce battle to divide their assets.

Odds are now on as to who will be Cheryl’s next interest: Derek Hough is said to be the favourite, while Prince William seems unlikely. Cheryl, if you need a hand finding a new man, we're sure the thousands of men here at Loopylove  would happily oblige.
