  Is Mariah Carey pregnant?

  Mariah Carey sparked rumours as she walked the red carpet at this year’s Oscar ceremony, that she may be expecting her first child.

  Mariah, who attended the awards with husband Nick Cannon, fuelled pregnancy rumours when she announced ‘something special’ was on the way but then refused to comment any further.

  She wore a fitting and very revealing navy Valentino dress and looked curvier than usual, heightening suspicions even more. There are also rumours circulating Hollywood that the couple, who married in 2008, may be adopting an orphan.

  Mariah was not nominated for any awards but did appear in the film Precious, in which Mo’Nique won the gong for ‘Best Supporting Actress’. Before the awards Mariah was heard discussing her future career plans, mentioning talks with one director about three movies. It is still unclear what the ‘something special’ is, only time (9 months should do it!) will tell.
