Are they or aren’t they?
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have set tongues wagging as to whether their on-screen love from their new movie ‘The Bounty Hunter’, has spilled over into real-life.
The pair have been busy promoting the movie and publically cuddling and giggling with each other on the red carpet. Aniston and Butler have been romantically linked since they began filming last summer, and fuelled by Butler joining Aniston and her friends in Mexico for her 41st birthday.
The pair have done little to dispel the relationship rumours and were spotted flirting between scenes and are openly affectionate about one and other when asked about the situation. Jennifer, who calls Gerard ‘Gerry’, describes her co-star as ‘such a nice guy’, while Butler claims the two have ‘natural chemistry’ and ‘have a great time together; the pair insist that their relationship is purely platonic and that they are just good friends. But they continue to keep the press guessing with their public displays of affection, including their recent cover and feature spread in American style bible, W magazine, which includes images of the duo looking hot and steamy in the desert.
Their ‘are they, aren’t they’ relationship has been criticised by many and has been labelled a ‘showmance’ by those who believe they are faking their relationship in order to promote their new movie. Only time will tell if their relationship is a romantic one or if their friendship is as strong as they claim, after the movie promotions are over.
The Bounty Hunter is in cinemas now.
