  Mark Owen: Loverat?

  Mark Owen has confessed to having at least 10 affairs since he began his relationship with wife Emma. The Take That superstar told the Sun newspaper yesterday that he is ‘deeply sorry’ for his actions and blames his love-rat behaviour on alcohol and acknowledged that his drinking had damaged his marriage.

  Owen, who is viewed by most as the ‘squeaky clean’ member of Take that, could not confirm how many women he had cheated on his now-wife with, but made a guess at ten women but denied having any adulterous meetings since his wedding last October.

  Owen admitted to have one ongoing affair with account manager Neva Hanley. Owen told of how he met her at Preston train station and flew her out to LA a few weeks later when they began their sexual relationship. The pair allegedly had many other encounters including a drug and alcohol fuelled night at the popstar’s Lake District home. Mark also admitted to giving his ‘mistress’ thousands of pounds from his personal account both during and after their affair – he is adamant that this money was not a plea for her silence.

  The father-of-two claims that the other women he was unfaithful with were all drunken one-night stands while on tour; he insists that while he is unsure of whether his fellow band members know about his flings, he claims they did not know about Hanley.
