What is My Words all about?

Well, we realise that you know what words are of course! But this is about Words. Words are what we call keywords which describe you on your profile.

You can choose Words to highlight your hobbies and interests, and to reflect your personality traits or even both if you fancy it.  For instance, Simon Cowell's might be: rich, entrepreneur, pop music, self-opinionated, high-waisted.

You can choose up to nine Words to appear on your profile.

How do I choose Words for my profile?

Easy peasy. First you need to click on My Profile. Underneath your Word box, you will see a link entitled Browse all your words. Click on this link and you will arrive at the page where you can choose your Loopy Words. Simply select the Words that best sound like you from the drop down menu provided, and they will then appear in your Word box on the left hand side of your profile.

There is a Word I want to use but it's not on your list. Can I suggest my own?

Yes, you can!

First you need to click on My Profile. Underneath your Word box, you will see a link entitled Browse all your words. Click on this link and you will arrive at the page where you can suggest a Loopy Word of your own.

Any suggested words will need to be approved before we can put them on your profile. And if you already have nine Words, you will need to delete one before you can suggest a new one.

Can I change the order of how my Words appear in the box?

Absolutely!

First you need to click on My Profile. Underneath your Word box, you will see a link titled Browse all your words. Click on this link and you will arrive at the page where you can rearrange your Loopy Words. Simply use the arrows next to each Word in order to move it higher or lower in the list.

Can I change my Words after I've chosen them?

Is George Clooney gorgeous?

Of course you can. First you need to click on My Profile. Underneath your Word box, you will see a link entitled Browse all your words. Click on this link and you will arrive at the page where you can edit your Loopy Words. To delete a word, simply click on the Delete icon next to the word you want deleted.

I suggested a Word but it's not on my profile. Why?

We do need to approve your Words before we can put them on your profile. But don't worry. Enid is our Word scout, and she's a very fast worker. As soon as she has approved or refused your Words, we'll email you to let you know.
